Thumbs up A Quick Brew @ Ladock Woods

With the daylight hours dwindling it's hard to get time to catch up with friends in the woods, got out for a quick brew in the woods this weekend though with Joe, Phil & kids.

Did a little bit of whittling and enjoyed the forest with the kids...

My Monkey of a Brother Joe... (who will be 11 tomorrow! )

Pink is definitely the "in" attire for Shetler Building this year...

Was nice to catch up with RoadKillPhil who was tramping round the woods looking for me and Joe as we got there earlier.

When we gona make those Bullroar's then Phil?

The kids and I had a great day, I never really get stuck into whittlin when I'm out and about with he kids as I cant zone into the carvin. But we had fun playing with the firesteel and different tinders B4 we met up with Ash and Joe.
So heres some pics of the day.

ASAP Dude!! I never thought of making one until we chatted, I reckon they'll work too when we'm trying to find each other in the woods. They've now been bumped up to number 1 on my things to make list.... as well as feathers, more wood spirits and of course a whackload more spoons!

Anyhows, thanks for a great afternoon ( after me doing a whole mornin of human bullroarin to find ye) Didn't get much achieved apart from a brew or 2, Oh, and a few goes on the quartz and steel... another thing on my wanted list!!

    Cheers

    Phil
