Dunno how much you are willing to spend (looks about the same in pounds, maybe not the weight type though), but I bought this back in the summer and used it as a tent (along with my bivi bag by the same company), was comfy all night. It's super waterproof and dual layered, bit heavier than your usual basha tarp, but the water beads right off it, barely sticks at all. I can't compare it to what you guys have over there, but I love this thing, wish it was made in a 3x3 size for extra room when the weather sucks (when I set it up it was below +10C, windy and rainy, I went with the collapsed end tent approach with the bottom pinned and facing the wind, no trees, just a bamboo stick, tent pegs and some cordage to hold the stick vertical, worked well, but was kinda tight in there for my stuff in pockets I had to shed, slept with clothes on but next morning found my wallet just outside of the tarp......)
And, my Toyota 4Runner came in handy too..... the bigger cheap tarp is sagging due to rain.

Danish army teltflage: http://www.417.dk/shop/teltflage-dk-second-6468p.html
Approx £30
I've got the latest DD 3x3 Tarp and find it very good. Packs down small, covers well and now has reinforced peg points all round. £30 well spent.
Cheers
