    Possible new woods !!

I could well be a very lucky bugger having a conversation with one of swmbo's friends and said friends parents happen to own 40 acres of woodland about 3 miles from where I live.
So keeping all my bits crossed will find out in the next week about how much I can use it, and if it will cost me to do so
Already primed them for open fires and all, just must continue to think positive

Keep it up with the positive waves.
Do you want to be happy or do you want to be normal?

Well been up to said woods today for a quick look, and chatted with the owner. It is used for pheasant rearing and shooting a couple of times a year. Apart from that it has been left.
It is a mixed woodland with nearly all deciduous trees, lots of beech, oak Hazel and some others that I need to identify.
We had a little open fire, that's my son and his little girl. Made a drink on my newly made meths stove, thanks Adam.
Left it with no trace as all good bushcrafters should, just really nice quite and so fresh.
I will be having another chat with owner later this week to see how much I can use it, and how many at a time.
Did take some pictures, will post soon as just got back and now have to go out again.
