lol..
don't get me wrong, still a nasty matter. Makes you wonder just what the word 'privacy' means these days. Takes you back to the old 'conspiracy theory' thing aswell.
Never bought one but feel obliged to buy the last ever issue on Sunday and see about framing it so it shows up on Antiques Roadshow in about 80 years haha
What the hell do I know about anything I spent 25 years chucking columbiformes into aero engines

here we go on the trivial pursuits - how many golf balls are there on the surface of the moon? answer......... none, nobody's ever been there.

teotwawki doesn't necessarily have to be the result of any conspiracy (although there are several theories that hold a bit of water)
think of the global debt crisis. so many modern countries just hanging on by a thread. the possibility of societal, economic, or full government collapse is very real in many countries around the world. It's truly a shame that this topic tends to get laughed at more than it is taken seriously.
think of it... if the good ol' US of A crashes, we'll most likely drag most of the rest of the civilized world down with us. the topic of teotwawki/WROL/SHTF (whatever you want to call it) is very realistic, and shouldn't be treated as "conspiracy".
I'm sorry to get so roweled up about it, but this is the subject that I've spent the better part of 3 years preparing for. not zombies, not crazy government conspiracy theories, but simply the realistic possibility that my government CAN collapse under the right circumstances, and I'd like to be able to provide a future for my family if that happens.
3 years? I've been at it since 9/11 and I've got a friend who's been at it for over 30 years.
Talk about necro-posting!
Victory awaits the one, that has everything in order - luck we call it
Defeat is an absolute consequense for the one that have neglected to do the necessary preparations - bad luck we call it
