Smile Early Morning On West Pennine Moors

Was out at 5.00am this morning, for a fantastic walk and a bit of bushcraft practice...

And finally, the silhouette of the Lesser Spotted Jester !

well my night out (last night) in the west pennines was ruined by midges, not enough breeze to keep them at bay - does your jesters hat repel midges ?

If you observe my profile picture you will notice there are 2 tassles on the end of some cord. And if you spin your head backwards and forwards at great speed, it acts as a fly (or midge) swatter. There are side affects of course... COMPLETE DIZZYNESS !!!

Mind you the complete dizzyness results in a complete lack of interest in the voracious and piranha like eating habits of the lesser spotted pennine midge........they even penetrated the head and hammock nets !! Not a good night out
