Here is a useful link, with many ideas to work with. Some of the illustrations have been lifted straight from the Collins/Wiseman survival guide, but some are original.
Well worth a look.

Ahh I see LOL. I'll jave to check when the lofty books where written. I know my first copy was bought 14 years ago. Not sure if that was at the start of their life though haha
Yeah, I've posted the link to this in the books section. Richard Graves is one of the legends of bushcraft and definitely pre-dates lofty - Think more Robert Baden- Powell and the scouts. It was in this book that I first properly came across the camp loom - now my favourite bit of camp craftery!

I have learnt something new today then. Thanks for pointing that out. Damn that lofty with his picture stealing antics LOL

Okie dokie J_P... anyway...back to camp craft LOL. I will be having a go at some of these things in the future, and if anyone else has some camp crafty goodies they want to show off, feel free to post any photos or descriptions.
Graves died 1971, I think the original pamphlets were released in 1950. And were the basis for the book 'Bushcraft' first printed in the 50's and re-printed 1974.
