    Storage bags with access slits

    I make potato or onion storage bags with drawstrings. It is a pain in the neck to take the bag off the hook, undo the drawstring and take out the desired items.* I tie a slit directly into the mesh of the bags so I can avoid this nuisance.

    The vertical slit is the easiest. Net tubular until you want to start the slit. Then go back and forth as in flat netting until the size of the slit is realized. Then proceed netting tubular until the desired size of the bag is met. Tony
