Another good day on the islands

The wetaher was nice so we loaded up the car and drove out to the Lofoten island and did an overnighter.
Could not find any places on the beaches as they where chock fuill of caravaners and germans in mobile homes.
The wife does not like other people when she camps, but we managed to find a place in the foot hills, between the mountains.

So the mugles where in the tent...

And here is my humble abode. Note the lack of a tarp...as the wetaher was so nice.

My wife, found a lot of cockles, sadly they are poisonous due to an algae bloom. We should have been here in June

Nice. I'm rarely confident enough in the weather to go without a tarp. Its just too changeable here. But the odd occasion I have it has been worth it. Can't beat waking up to the view.

Not me either. This was a mix of laziness and good weather. Forgot about the possibility of fog in the hills:-)
The forecast said clear skies, and it was, once we got out of the hills, just look at the pictures :-)

Great pictures Rune - please send those blue skies to the UK - all we've had recently is rain!
