    My little man

Our little man brought this one home to his mom yesterday.
All the fuzz in the world was made and dinner promptly cooked :-)

Yes it was off the boat.
Found a good mark just off the beach that has plenty of cod and coal fish. And it is just 200 meters from the beach to our house.

I am not from this village so I do not know the local marks, and always just headed straight out to sea where the other boats are. But since brought the little one I decided to hug the shore.

And when we made the boat ready, this old man came and talked to me and told me the spot is right off the shore here.
He used to just row out in a small rowing boat when he fancied some fish for dinner :-)

The adbvantage is that when the lad gets bored, tired or want to do something else, i can just put him ashore and send him home to mom with whatver we cought until then.
This coal fish he got on his first cast in the boat, and it was a mighty struggle for him to reel it in (with some encouragement from me).
That little trout rod of his really took the punishment too, and it was quite a fight.

When he was done, I went out again, and got a good fish crate full of cod and coal fish, so we are not hungry for a while :-)
Always feel good to be able to bring home food you caught yourself.

But now I have to repair the starter for the motor. The thing wont wind in the pull cord, but thats fixed in 20 minutes, once I can
work up the energy to get my hands dirty, hehe

That's just the best thing I've seen and heard about all day. Thank you and well done!
