    a "Like" button?

Could we have a "Like" button please

I know we have the facility to add to a Users reputation but, to me at least, it appears limiting in its use. ie, if I have already added to a users reputation, it does not allow another "add" even though what I would want to comment on is a totally new topic.

At present, it seems that that the only way to make a post thanking a person.

I may not be that grateful but a quick way of saying "Thanks" with a button would make a welcome difference.

I've often felt the same, but I think the software used for the forums (vBulletin) doesn't offer this feature so it can't just be enabled / switched on. Maybe someone else can spot it: http://www.vbulletin.com/en/features/

Nothing wrong at all but most Forums use a "like" button.
To be honest, until you drew attention to it, I never would have thought of a "thumbs up" but then I don't use "smileys" very much

    So much quicker to understand.
Multi-lingual, and probably globally recognised. (Note: some finger gestures are very much NOT the same in different countries!)
