I have an option of leasing some woods but before I put pen to paper, I thought I'd see if there was any interest. The woods are just outside Buxton. There is a toilet on site, compost, a parachute...

If there are trees i use a set up similar to this.
Alpkit tarp set up.
The difference is i dont use a prussik on the left, i clip a carabiner to the tarp,take the ridge line around the tree...

I liked the "Leave no trace organisation" site................no trace except the tyremarks of the great big 4x4 used to take your gear in !

the main thing to see would be the feet woodpeckers have two toes forward and two back thrushes don't.

Nice pictures. It's a good job you checked up on the second one i'd have said it was a mistle thrush.

Just finished making this ..........its a bit different to the last one in that it has a 24 inch bahco peg tooth blade in it. Ive carved the handles added some leather and antler and the windlass now...
