You are right. My bad.
If one day, while in the wilderness I see a Indian on a paddleboard, that will be the day that I take up paddleboarding, until then I'm sticking with my canoe.
BTW I paddle like an Indian (I try)....
LOL those aren’t scientific expeditions.
@ susannewilliams
You and I have a different idea on what makes for a “very serious expedition”. I was thinking of scientists studying jellyfish or something. You posted links to adventure tourism.
I looked at who's on line and saw you lurking on this thread. I know you are itching to get back and win.
All real Americans want to win. Second place is first looser.
It's time for you to lock...
"very serious expeditions" post link please and thanks
Ain’t that the truth brother.
It's a zombie thread.
For an American you sure do have a thin skin. C'mon make a video, it will be fun.
I think Fishy is right.
@ beermaker
There is something about being on water. I get a really good feeling, different from being in the forest, but just as good.
Now you are learning. :happy-clapping:
Show me I am wrong. Make a video. If you make vid, I'll make a response vid. Big knife vid vs. Small axe vid. :guns:
You have just grosed me out. :p...
Too bad about the bridges. Going to an uninhabited island in the north sea would be awesome though. Steal your trailer! Really, WTF those &#@ thieves.
I think that there are serious quality control issues in china.
It's the hidden cost of low prices
@ OKBushcraft
I'll put my axe up against your Aranyik any day. I'll get more work done in less time than you, even in Oklahoma.
Spend a week with me in the Canadian backcountry and I guarantee...
The GP14 is a great boat. I wish I had one.
Aren’t paddle boards in vogue right now? Any fad will have the price jacked.
I have two knives and a saw from Gerber. I also have seen the axe in action. Believe me you aren’t missing a thing.
1) Sunrise, the best time to hunt and fish.
2) Summer, it's easier to do stuff.
3) Tent, so I can snuggle up to my woman.
4) Fur, I just like the taste.
5) Cold climate, because it's what I am...
Poor design in many cases and the steel is Chinese rubbish.
Discuss.
Oh please! An axe will do everything a “parang machete and a billhook” will do and do it better.
Carrying an axe and a parang gives no advantage over just carrying an axe, extra weight for no...
Anyone using a paddleboard on my last trip would have drowned.
I prefer to bushcraft in the wilderness not on the French Riviera.
@ beermaker
A "pick"! Are you prospecting for gold?
A folding shovel, you mean an entrenching tool. Are you expecting an artillery bombardment?
Why anyone would need anything more than a digging stick is beyond me. Are you going to dig a root...
Paddleboards belong at resorts not in the back country.
There is so such wrong with this idea, I don't know where to begin.
