Old vacuum cleaner pipe from Tip?
Although it may be a little narrow to draw very well.
I attended a Handfasting ceremony at the stone circle at Avebury a couple of years ago.
It was a unique experience and even the heavy rain didn't spoil it. Enjoy your day.
Yes, unfortunately I did the same!

Yes, they can be microwaved or boiled in the bag. The portions are not exactly massive so will need supplementing with rice or similar, but very tasty.
From today, Tesco are stocking the 'Look What We Found' range of meals for £1 each.
For those not familiar, as ready meals go, they are pretty good, they do not need to be kept in the fridge, and...
Very nice work.
This gets pretty good reviews, and is dirt cheap;

Or 'Napoleon Solo's Tent'.
That should keep em away, unless they are THRUSH agents!
Very good. Bags are a bit expensive, but I'm sure improvised ones could be made. It is very strong and takes up little space in the canoe when packed. I would not get the same tent again as it is a...
Well I suppose I should write a review.
It did what it said on the can!
Sounds good, will try it!
I like to cook under a tarp rather than in a tent, it's a much safer option all round. I may make a cuppa first thing from within the tent, but with the gas stove just outside, but I quite like...
Good site. Unfortunately, the mesh size on the trap in the first link is too big for the UK, it is listed as 14 x 40mm but maximum at widest is 30mm for UK.
The circular one they have listed looks...
The British Mountaineering Council quote the following when using this type of heat exchanger;
"If possible have a 'buddy' outside of the tent keeping an eye on you, ready to pull you out." which...
Not much good on a hike I admit. But a canoe gives a bit more scope to carry the odd luxury!
Not sure about the ethics of burying or binning the bags though ? (They are bio-degradable). Although I...
I am doing a canoe trip with a mate next week, and we camping under tarps on the river Gt Ouse. Now I like my comfort, and going to the loo in the early hours when it is raining can be a bit of a...
A couple of them were wearing glasses and they had brilliant sunshine! could have started a fire in minutes with no effort.
Also, why did everybody just sit around waiting for the fire to get lit?...
I too have used these when they are well past their date. Still tasted great and I survived!
Only a small item, but I bought a small Square Grill Pan in Aldi today. Only £3.49.
They also did small round Frying Pans and Mini Woks for the same price. Ideal for the lone camper!

I would say that it is not the womans fault, if she only heard that one of the group was missing.
A simple roll call by the tour operator would have solved things rather more quickly!
Sorry not interested as I have one already! But this is a real bargain, they are a great piece of kit.
Yeah, although it's quite easy to get caught out up there, and I have been myself. I always take sufficient gear to stay overnight though and let the rangers know if I am going to do so (signal...
Thanks for that. I am actually a member on there, although a silentish one at the moment.
