I have an Ikea with the punched holes top to bottom but it will only fit INSIDE the 12cm Zebra. To clear the Zebra nesting pan the Ikea would need to be cut rather short. ...
1. Ontario 12" machete with custom grind on the blade top for scraping, 4" of scandi grind near the handle and convex grind for the balance of the blade. This pattern has been copied by some US TV...
I had to do the past 3 months recuperation from hip surgery. I planned during this time to refine my cooking kit to include a method to dry bake bread and generally do a complete revamp to lighten...

I bet his surgeon gets a lot of business.
Sadly, in a way, I am becoming very fond of the JetBoil. It seems at this later stage in life (61 with a 3 month old hip joint) it is more enjoyable to put up with 2 minutes of the JetBoil hiss and...
Thanks Peaks, great news, I will order a pair today.

The ring and three legged pot stand for the Tatonka is very impressive. I would get the entire set, but i have two of the brass Trangia stoves and I like them. Could someone let...
The US MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) have a heat packet that is water activated. It works ok if you don't mind cold food. I have a case remaining from all that were passed out after Hurricane Katrina. ...

PS. The Brunton fuel can support is worse than no support at all. It is a danger to use.
Here is a photo of the stove showing the flame pattern.

Folding firebox is nice, although rather heavy. Just over 2 pounds or .9 kilogram.
I have the same one, sad to say it is just as good or better than my expensive Snow Peak. Wish I had seen it sooner.
I have a LMF Army, LMF Scout and at least 10 off eBay China. They are all the same. They all work very well with good tender. None work well with poor tender.
Permethrin is quite good. It will not harm clothing, boots, tarps or bedding.
Over here in the US, Old Dave is thought to be quite fond of using other folks ideas without proper credit. He is not held in the highest regard by some US bushcraft groups. Cody, on the other...
