I like using tarred mariners bankline from the bushcraft store its £5.99 for a reel of 1.5mm x 250ft with breaking strain of 75kg or 2.0mm x 125ft with breaking strain of 125kg

They were about 7cm across by 5cm high. I found 4 three of which was quite hard and woody and one witch was soaked and very soft with a skin like feeling. Thanks for the help guys
