wont those birds ever shut up :guns:
hello there. :welcome:
i wonder if it might be possible to mix a little citronella oil with the olive oil. the smoke and fumes from the burning may help keep mozzies and midges away.
some lads take tripods with them when fishing. anglers love to photograph their fish
i prefered a much more compact option, fits into the palm of your hand. the swivel/ball joint allows you to...
nice idea. you could also carry a spare unpierced lid to prevent spillage. leave the wick in the oil and close it up.
T^
i had a nosey on ebay and found some strop paste, but maybe a dearer option than the toothpaste/autosol options. they also had some of the chromium oxide powder....
if using toothpaste, do you just smear it on as it is.
i pre-wetted an old belt, then smeared some cheapo, scrape yer enamel off, paste and seemed ok, but just want to hear how others use it in...
does the belt have to be secured to a wooden block or can you get decent results just having it secured at one end [the old buckle] and holding the other end. like the old barbers used to do...
good job. also nice to see you have left the scars and character in there.
you mean like making sub folders, as you can do anyway using the bookmark bar?

glad i found this thread, as i was about to ask the same question as the OP.
so, am i right to summarise;
carbon steel should;
spark better, possible to sharpen to a better edge, but may not...
Hello and welcome.

i have one of those cutlery drainers next to my sink... :wink:
folding saw is a much better option than a small axe. if you need a big axe, take a chainsaw :shocked:
pm'd.
a nice designer option for affluent tree top protesters.
i must admit to being something of a knife sharpening novice compared to most of you guys.
i have a diamond steel for sharpening my cookery knives and have used that to keep a keen edge on chef...
fiver :ashamed:
i did have the mini, but like the look of the micro as the glass part collapses into the body to protect it.
...
very nice. i hope you are taking orders T^
do the people that use these candle lanterns hang them up... :confused2:
i know they have a hanging handle or chain [depending on the model] but i always prefered mine to be sat on something solid,...
yep.
i was fishing on a remote lake with a friend of mine. he was about 50 yards down the bank from me. he was trimming a few bankside branches and soon he came running along to me with blood...
