At the weekend myself and several others from the forum arranged to go up to Dartmoor to spend a weekend in a private woodland with permission from forum member Ivan. It was my first time on Dartmoor...

Alright so me and Ash have been trying to upload my photos tonight from my computer but have been having a major headache with it... my computer is playing up and the upload is really struggling......

One thing to bear in mind if you do get a lightweight tripod, in the wind it can easily fall over, it has happened to me before. Easily remedied by the propping a bag or similar against it or hanging...

These photos are fantastic, you've inspired me to visit the moor properly this year as it is only 20 mins away from me. Cheers for posting.

Cheers for the advice guys, I'll go with the tent then... I'm going to drag my kit out on Sunday to have a look and see if I need to make any purchases. I'll no doubt have more questions after then!!

Well to be honest I'm clueless about Dartmoor and I've never camped this early in the year before...
