Heat with the torch until non magnetic as you said make sure their is no cloudy spots on the blade when heating then into warm oil. You can use the oven in your house to temper try 200c for 1 hour...

Here is a bushcraft style folder i just finished. Its a DDR-BL kit with a 01 blade with 7mm scandi grind. Scales are a stabilized wood and resin. And a walnut box 1307713078130791308013081
