Nice write up. Not been out for ages but reading that makes me want to. Pigeon breasts are good eating.

Having recently watched the Spiderwick Chronicles with the kids and a McQ Bushcraft Basics video on the subject in the title, I fancy starting a field book.
I would be interested to hear from...
Great write up. Thanks for taking the time to share this.

I've got a 44L pro force and can't fault it. I find it very comfortable and use it over a Berghaus freeflow sack of a similar size every time. The pro-force seems a lot more capacious and is more...

I am looking to purchase a compact camera and have narrowed it down to either a Sony RX100 m1 or a Panasonic TZ70. I appreciate that they are slightly different cameras and both have well documented...
I enjoyed reading that. Nice post. I will have to get to that part of the country one day.
Looking good Humakt. What camera did you get?
Nice pic. Really like it. What camera and lens did you use?
Great report. Looks a nice trip. Never slept in the woods alone. This makes me want to.
Horrible things ticks. The dog used to be prone to them until treating him with Advantix. Will be extra vigilant after trips on the moor.
Sad to hear.
My condolences to his family.
Wow. That does put things into perspective. Great shot.
Thanks for the information Rune. I will be going to the local camera shop to have a look at potential cameras and then do as you suggest and get an older model.
Those River Cottage books are very good. There are some similar books by Dick and James Strawbridge that were being sold cheap in Aldi that are OK.
