Windermere too public for me, ennerdale or buttermere are fantastic for wild camp weekends up on the fells. Next time am wild camping is August when kids go back to school.

Nope mate used to have a few but now you either have gangs of kids or industry taking the over, lakes and Scotland the best to go.
