Hi all, as per title, I thought I would see if anyone had a spare for sale, in new or as new condition before I buy elsewhere.
Thanks for looking.

I am keeping mine :)
Good luck with your search
Well I went and done it ;) I hit the buy now button, a nice new DD Frontline should be winging it's way to me, thanks for looking all :)
Hi all, haven't done it yet but after receiving my Frontline today, setting it up and laying in it, I think there maybe a mod to try, at the ends where the webbing straps are, I'm thinking of a spreader bar, probably made of something like a broom shank to spread the hammock almost full width to get as much space as possible. What do people think, do you think it may compromise the strength of the hammock or fail in another way, maybe a good idea ?
Thoughts please, TIA
I have not used my DD as instructed, I modified mine very quickly with a ridge line set at about 100 inches long creating a sag for the diagonal lay. Never had it any different and always sleep well. Not sure how the spreader bars would work but might be interesting to find out. You may need to think about suitable reinforcement at the pole ends though.
Thanks for the reply, when you say reinforcement, in what way ? I was thinking of drilling holes into something like a section of broom handle, tie knots into the webbing to stop the wood reaching the hammock, is that something similar to what you mean ?
Thanks.
That gives me a better idea
of what you are doing. For those that dont know, bridge hammocks generally spread the material of the hammock but the design has sewn in end panels which allow the creation of a bathtub making it very stable. My worry with what you are proposing is that the DD will end up very much like the garden type hammocks which are very flat in their nature and not very stable at all.
Professor Hammock on YouTube is the one to watch for bridge type hammocks.
