Oyster mushroom

Hi guy, I was out for a walk in Formby today. Blustery, windy, cloudy grey day, but the view from the sand dunes seeing those massive waves crashing onto the beach, dramatic views of the forests bending and twisting in their growth forged in countless storms. Walking back hand in hand with my partner, my spider senses tingled I looked to my right and I had to blink twice Oyster mushrooms growing on a dead standing tree in early January or am I wrong???
