This isn't actually my bit of bushcraft but I thought I'd share it anyway. My daughter Jo has popped back from Uni and was at a friends who needed some wood burning.
At this point I should point out that Jo thinks I'm very sad being a member of this forum with all my virtual friends. Anyway, she got a pile of fluff from her friends tumble dryer, made some shavings using her multi tool and in no time "hey presto" fire! :campfire:
So, this forum and its' knowledge has influence beyond its' members ~(even if one of those members is considered a saddo by his daughter!)
Cheers,

Just back from my first stealth camp of the year, at a lovely little sea facing location, just off the coast path between here and Land's End.
And it was grand :D
Spent the last two days with my missus and buddy, Danny Reid, co-hosting a two day bushcraft and outdoors event in aid of help for heroes.
Met loads of new folk who I would feel honoured to call new friends.
I'd like to publicly thank Danny for all his invaluable help in manning our stall and offering loads of help an support whilst I was off doing wild foraged food guided walks.
