Sorting out the soft drink cans, wire mesh and tin foil. Tonight the Scouts are making meths stoves, primer plates, pot stands and windshields.

Had 14 penny stoves going this evening. They had constructed the stove, made a primer plate and windshield from foil, and a pot stand from the mesh. Well pleased with their work and not a single cut finger to patch up so no accident forms to fill in :happy-clapping:
Ours is 3rd Ivybridge mate, a recently revived troop but growing slowly..... Good effort on the lack of paperwork too!

Well well, the thermometer shows -10 degrees celcisus, and the skies are clear, but some snow showers forecast. Avalanche danger is orange (level 3), wich means that a skier can set off an avalanche.
I am going out for a combined fishing and hang. Same lake as last weekend, just the other side to get more away from the village. :-)
