Here is the third of my Tinder Walk videos...this time the theme is wet conditions. Well it was fairly dry when I made it, but the woods where soaked after a week of heavy rain.

Woohoo. Bergen is packed and ready to go,the video camera batteries are all charged and the countdown has begun.

Finish work at 1:30pm on Saturday then I'm off to the woods for 2 nights.

Was out again yesterday. One reason was to answer a youtube tag on a survival skill I have, so I made one on map and compass use. And just to make sure people are paying attention, I set the course with the compass upside down. T^

Thanks for that Rune.. Oh and yer right about the pine needle tea .. IT SUCKS!!! try nettle tea sometime . Just use the young leaves at the top of the plant Oh aye and wear gloves when ye do and rub them in between your hands before you put them in the pot it helps get the juice's flowing!.
I like the tag you guys are putting about .. If it was me It would be hunting and tracking.
Oh and according to my wife .. Making something out of nothing :campfire:

My daily bushcraft was forging a simple steel striker. Will be making a few more of these and making them a little "fancier", with a couple twists in the arms.
