Biography:

Grew up on the outskirts of Romford Essex, in a time when kids had plenty of freedom,which I used to the full, always out in the countryside.
Went through Scouts and eventually became a leader, where I developed many of my outdoor skills in Camping, Hiking, Sailing, Canoeing and Caving, to a level of instructing the boys in my group.
After a break of over twenty years, I now desperately want to get back to the freedom of the great outdoors.
