    No I haven’t tried nettles nor have I tried pigeon. Wild edibles are on my to do list for this summer. I think I will pass on the pigeon however.

    Thanks Tommy, it was quite tasty! I eat pigeon when I can and nettles are so easy to cook and this time of year tons of them in new growth. Have you ever tried them? I hope all is well with you. I am hoping to get out and do some camping in next few weeks just need to find some space! all the best to you.

I always felt happiest and at home in the countryside. spent chunks of childhood years in wilds of scotland, definately where my heart lies.
Had a small holding in Somerset for 10 years, but kids now growing up fast and now trained as psychotherapist..reached an age where I want to take up where I left off in earlier years and get into bushcraft and wild camping as for me thats my food for life!
