  1. thanks for the heads up coma. i was up that way last year and found a good spot near the water but its absolutely coverd in trash might take a trip up when im there and give it a clean up

    Bad news man, had a scout round the north east area of loch lomond. Definetely easy to pitch a tent, unfortunately some complete turds have also picked up on this and the whole place is covered in trash.... (around here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...66047&t=p&z=15 ) It may be worth noting that it is on the west highland way, so it'll be busy too....

    haha, fortunately for you I'll be scouting up that way this or next weekend... I'll let you know about any good camping spots I find. As for fish as I suspected trout and salmon - http://www.loch-lomond.net/boating/fishing.aspx. The page makes suggestions of fly but...toby would generally be what I would use... Dont forget to show us the fruits of your labour
