Hi Phil,

I'm Mike I too am new to the whole bushcrafty thing, I camp a lot with family for hols & walk regularly often with overnight wild camps.
You are perfectly welcome to join the group, but please it is not mine I just started it as there wasn't one for us northern types. My philosophy is that anyone one can join & get things moving re meets etc up here in the Peak District, I am just looking for like minded folks who enjoy the outdoors & have somewhere we can chat, possibly share wild camp sites, get advice.......

What i did was to go on Google Earth - look for some woods/fields - go for a walk to check them out & see if its not frequented by knobheads/drug addicts - go camping !

I find near motorways are pretty good but i suppose it's what your area is like ! Try to find somewhere where nobody goes if possible..let me know how you get on Phil even better take some photo's....

Hi guys my name Phil and I interested in learninig bushcraft and abit confused were to start. I have got some gear together, read some books and watched some bits on utube. My biggest problem is where to practise my skills, i am basesd up in Liverpool. I would welcome any advise.
