That's just tempting fate isn't it - odd how heights get so much scarier as you get older I am sure this would have looked like great fun a few years back! Look very nice indeed (I have seen a few Youtube clips over recent years too) but wondering if you wouldn't all end up in an uncomfortable pile in the centre... Sounds like there's tensioning straps that might help with that - great if they work.

Looks like a fantastic combination of big wall camping and hammock camping, love the thought of it.

El Capitan is a vertical rock formation in Yosemite National Park, located on the north side of Yosemite Valley, near its western end.

The granite monolith extends about 3,000 feet (900 m) from base to summit along its tallest face, and is one of the world's favorite challenges for rock climbers and BASE jumpers.

Actually, it's Great Sail Peak on Baffin Island in the Canadian arctic and it's a wee bit higher than El Capitan , they are camping on a 4000 feet sheer cliff!

That's what I was thinking. What if you wake up in the midle of the night and have to take the shovel for a walk. I'll take a tent or a tarp or bush shelter just as long as there's ground under me and NOT thin air. Nope not for me.
