My first functional spoon

I got my first functional spoon made. It's still small at 12.5 cm long. I'll go for another couple at this size before trying to make a larger one.

Thanks Roger, It's not quite my first, it's my first functional spoon. My first can be found here http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?9019-My-First-Spoon but I don't consider it functional as the bottom of the bowl is so thin that I doubt it would last long through washing.

I made 2 attempts and whittled the handles clean off before arriving at that one. Then I made another with a better bowl, but it snapped, quite easily too. It wouldn't have broke in use but it looked like it would while packed, it broke the day I made it in a jacket pocket.

Then I made this one posted here, it's strong enough at it's thinest point and the bowl is pretty even in thickness.

Thanks, I did aim for something that looked good without compromising the functionality/comfort. I've actually moved away from the shape at the moment while practicing not using sandpaper, I plan to move back tot his shape gradually.
