managed to get hold of these today, its far to early to be catching them yet but you will get a few all year round and it has been so mild i doubt the sea temp has dropped much.

Good catch Kev,From sea to table thats the way to eat it,(if you don't have a fry up on the beach!).looks lovely !

the british shore caught reckord for sole was of the pier just to the left of the tower of refuge in the pic, dont know if it still stands or not, incidently thats where we catch the squid also.
we couldent beach this boat but i used to in my dory, loads of little coves and beaches on this coastline only accessable by sea, nothing better on a flat calm summers morning than beaching and cooking some fresh mackeral on the skillet .....atb kev

so what's the property prices and job market like at the moment, each time you post a picture I like the look of the IOM more and more!

job markets ok,not as good as it was but better than a lot of places in the uk.
because we are an island everything is condensed into a small area so we dont have vast areas of unemployment.
as for house prices...http://www.deanwood.im/residential-sales/
