In the search for components to make my wife a ring sling. I have come across a company that make light weight weld free rings. Rated to 1250kg. A pair is about a fiver and come in a variety of sizes and colours. I'm gonna pick a few up for use on my SLS and other hammock bits. It might well be a new source for such products at a decent price.

I get my rings and bits from the horse tackle/bridle shop, reckon if its built for horses, it'll easily take the weight of me
