i got a bit of pitch pine at work so thought i would have a go at a spoon,as it turned out its ended up a small ladle/scoop so will have to try again on the spoons.
the wood has been in the big house since it was build 200yrs ago so is well seasoned,it has a lovely grain and fantastic smell when cut.
i done the whole job with the gransfor kubben hatchet and just need to hollow it out when i get my crooked knife sorted....atb kev

Its really nice! How did you feel about it turning into ladle in stead of a spoon?
