That's genius! Seen it done so many times before but kept forgetting it. :zombie-fighting: I have loads of those blades kicking around from a saw I bought ages ago, and been wanting a small carving knife for a while, so this looks like my next personal project.

How do you set the blades in the handles?

How do you set the blades in the handles? With Epoxy resin bud.

Do you just cut a slot in the handle then? or do you have a way of putting a slot in the middle?

Do you just cut a slot in the handle then? or do you have a way of putting a slot in the middle?..No I drill a 1/4in hole in the middle of a 6in peace of wood then put the tang and epoxy in that and let it go hard, then shape the handle.

well, just come across this, I was going to ask if anyone had used those type of blades to do wood carving knives before.
just trying a bit of whittling at the moment on the path towards carving anything larger. 48 and trying something new, might be hope for me yet!!!
