Rainbow Trout

Something you might like to try if you catch Rainbow Trout that have been put into a lake as stock fish. This doesn't seem to be necessary if the fish are breeding but there are only a couple of rivers in the UK where Rainbows breed naturally.

Gut them and fill the body cavity with course cut marmalade. It seems to take the earthy taste out of them

nice tip happybonzo... have to try that the next time i get a trout not been fishing in a while.. so im looking forward to that now:D
