Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can source some decent good quality down? Pref without having to go to the local duck pond :)

Iv found a guy that sells it on eBay which is £15 per lb but he is in the USA and it will cost me £45 to get it shipped.

So anyway if anyone knows where I can get any that would be great :)

How much do you want mate.

I have a bin bag full in the loft that I took out of a feather and down quilt. I'm not too sure if they are definately duck but they look the real deal and the quilt was years old.

EDIT Just read your post again and you say you want down. If feather and down is ok, give me a shout.

cant help with duck down, but have loads of duck do which is similar

you could try an army surplus and get the old 58 pattern arctic bag, failing that, the newer ones are synthetic fill which are abit more user friendly if they get wet, cheers Ian.....

I was looking for down some time ago, not a uk based supplier but a european. Not used myself as I abandoned the project due to time constraints, but have heard good things from others.

Thats the other one I was looking for! Couldn't find it last night though. Also heard good things about them.
