I have just recieved my knife kit, before I start I wanted to ask if anyone has any tips or tricks on this sort of kit.

I was going to get one of these at some point, sorry that i cant help you but if you could keep me posted on how it goes then when your finished post some pictures that would be great.

Nice! British Blades would be the best option for advice on assembling a stick tang knife. Won't even have to ask for help, just some simple searching will show dozens of threads.

Ibrown make shore you have got a long enuff drill bit to go into the birch,are you going to put the stick tang all the way throw the wood or cut a bit off? When you put the brass bolster on first ild use black epoxy let it go off and clean off exsess ,then start building up the rest of the handle.Dont shape it untill it is stuck to the knife.I'm on skype if you want a face2face chat...........atb...........TONY
