Wow! You don't see herds like that down here in Cornwall, well not unless your at a deer farm.

I get excited like a child when I see one or two down here :)

Haven't seen numbers like that round here before. I got all excited when I made a Roe jump the other day. I only nipped into the patch of woods as a call of nature was screaming at me. Not sure which of us jumped most!

Jous_young, that has happened to me a few times, it seems when a roe deer becomes separated from the heard it will bed down or hide when it hears you coming ..rather then just trot off as they normaly do if they were in a heard, some times you almost trip over one when it decides to move at the last moment lol

We had a fawn come right into camp one night and watch us, its mother (I think it was its mother) started bellowing/roaring for it to return to her ,we could not see the mother but the noise it was making was horrendous, it scared the life out of my wife lol

T^ There's an all-white buck (not an albino) in my local woods...seen him up close one night nibbling the grass on the lawn. :D
