Just flipped trough Ebay just browsing...and could not think of any bushcrafty items I need nor want right now.
Well, I need a large pack/bergen and a 3 season sleeping bag but need to get some more funds together before I buy those. So that does not really count :-)

Else there was nothing :-)

Does that mean that I am complete?

Never.

Our kit, needs and wants will always change or evolve. You have just reached an equilibrium of your current requirements... ;)

There is always... ALWAYS.... a need for more shiny things, occasional pauses not withstanding!

I just did, and when I saw the result all I wanted to do was to hack saw the side handle off it. And if I did that, I would be left with the same thing as my zebra billy. Which I have had for a couple of months now, and never used... :-)

Scary, ain't it :-)

Correct, that is why I took to making them!

I actually have 3 of these. I use them for American Civil War reenacting and believe it or not they are quite useful.

Difficult to pack , from a space saving point of view, so I wouldn't use one when 'normal camping'.

However:

I have been challenged to spend a weekend with only gear and clothing from the 1860's. No modern gizmo's whatsoever.

When it takes place I will place small video of how I get on ( yes the camera would technically be a modern gizmo, gimme a break how could I film it :ashamed: )

Now I understand the title and truly believe. There is always a bit of kit lurking around the next corner that will catch our eyes and PayPal accounts. So what if it's Raman noodles and generic beer for a month! I just had to have that new bergan or that hammock.
