When you do a new post, there is a little box 3rd from the right on the top, click on that and upload.

Hope that helps!

Search for "James Nobel" on British blades.

Cheap Pakistani steel that won't hold an edge. Bad fit and finish are some of the common themes.

(hopefully you got a good one)

The guy trades under loads of different company names which speaks for itself in my eyes.

thanks for the heads up, ill look him up now... im actually really pleased with the finish, the mother of pearl looks cracking... and if this is indeed buffalo horn like it quotes thats cool too lol, like i said im pleased with the knife as just a show knife if im honest and never really planned on beating it up... so not too concerned! cheers again

Hi fellas. I bought a cheap(ish) damascus blank off this guy and put up a thread about it some time ago. it seemed to cause a bit of an issue so please be careful what you say about the seller!

I have to say i am very pleased with the blade i bought and its like a razor and seems to hold a reasonable edge so i personally cant complain.:D

haha, you didnt rain on my parade bud, its a beutiful knife, im very pleased with it.. the blade is holding up nicely but dont plan on using it for any heavy duty work..... lovely knife - i just seem to find myself sitting and looking at it.. think its the mother of pearl ... like i said.. im just stroking it like golum "my precious" lol

I did that with a knife I made, and when I was riveting the tang, as it was a puukko style knife, it broke:(

Joel

Ps I hope your doesn't do that!
