Natural Bushcraft has to be one of the friendliest places on the planet and the generosity shown from one member to another is just unbelievable. Thank you Paul for your kindness, I'm off now to burn something   :campfire:

People not interested in the things we do and practice would look at that and say "a couple of bits of wood and some dried fungus,so what?"
But for myself and all you other like minded folk that is a really kind gesture as well as a great gift :happy-clapping:

LOL. You must of been looking over my shoulder Paul, LMAO... When I unpacked it, I did exactly that then had a good look at the Drill etc and then the penny dropped,,,,, one embarrassed trip to the bin to retrieve the "bird's nest"........ What a wally eh.

Thank's again Paul for your kindness.

Hi Guys,

Thought I would give you the heads up on the thread My daily bushcraft. Dannyried1978 has posted a vid of himself lighting fire with bow and drill. I was there at the time and it was great to his face when he achieved this, even though he was knackered after it.

Well fella's, long story. I badly burned myself while welding, picked up the hot end of what I was working on lol. That delayed progress a bit. So I was planning to have a go this weekend "Sunday". Will report back "with more burned fingers I hope" if I manage to create fire by friction. Watch this space..........
