Just got back from 10 days in the desert near Death Valley. Just awesome.

Of course things like hand-drill are much easier in the dryness!

Finding water, creating and managing water. Sun protection shelters. Insulated shelters for the sun and the cold. Firemaking. Wild food. Small-game hunting. Climbing. Natural navigation. Sand-storm and flash flood survival.

Oh yes...and Hot Springs - HOT MUD!

Desert starry nights.

Many many great experiences.

Yeah. Deep nature immersion and awareness training.

Situational awareness. Perception training. Desert Qigong. Desert Survival/Bushcraft.

Our clients loved it...

Gosh I miss the deserts - no mosquitoes, few people, almost no humidity...*sniff*

Bloody hell snow and cold one minute then roasting desert the next. Yes you are a wild girl of major extremes.
If only I was younger and fitter by about 100% ha ha would have loved the extremes.

Waaah so sorry we did not have one daylight moment free for filming.

Very intense program and just us two training because of the depth of skills we were transmitting. Got some photos coming though.

Was you doing the training? Or being trained?
And I suppose the free diving is next?

I was the trainer. :-)

Yup freediving season is coming. I don't have a freedive instructirs license but basic freediving is covered in what I am licensed to teach as a CMAS ****. Down to 12 meters deep, and 30 meters at 5 meters depth. All the relaxation, buddy safety techinqies, breathing techniques and so on are the same.

So down to 12meters I get. The next bit confused me. 30 mtr at 5mtrs. Unless it me or the sun has got to you ha ha!

Swim down 5 meters, swim horizontally 30 meters, then swim up 5 meters to the surface. ;-)

Yeah CMAS is a little stricter in that.
