View Full Version : inexpensive stainless steel pans

Just been into town and in Boyes (our local cheapie shop selling homewares and the like) and found a set of three nesting stainless steel bowls with plastic lids ranging in size from 6" to 7" diameter and about 2" high for the princely sum of 1.45. well worth a punt as a set of three frying pans/saucepans and the plastic lids mean I can store grub or tinder in them :)

On the flip side though, I also bought a compass from there for 99p which is OK but the bezel is too stiff to turn so not so much of a bargain. You pays yer money, you takes yer choice.....

Yarm or Stockton?

I've been known to browse in both ;)

It was in the Yarm branch, upstairs near the storage pots. There's some left I believe :) are you in this neck of the woods? I live in yarm :)
