My grand father used to make thos torches by cutting a solid log with a power saw, then pour gasoline from same into the grooves, lit at and then once the gasoline was burned off, put the kettle over.This was before anyone had ever heard the word environment...

Thank you guys for the encouragement. Sometimes I worry that I am just grandstanding, but if what I have learned can help anyone along, or my antics bring a smile to someones face, or even inspire them to get out there, then I think that's pretty nice. :-)
