50th Birthday ideas?

A good mate of mine will be 50 soon and because he's a nice bloke I think we'll all want to chip in and get him something decent. He's a County Council park ranger and usually works outdoors (with chain saw). He is *very* knowledgable about wilde life and plant life and like the rest of us he enjoys a good raddle by the fire.

I estimate we'll raise between £50-£100. Any sensible suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
