Thought I'd give the Natural Bushcraft community a heads'up on this day-course being offer for free.

A wonderful opportunity, only open to 10 people though so places will go fast! Book your name if you're interested, but please only put your name down if you are 100% sure you will make it.

More info @ http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/events/trapping-game-prep-free-day-course.html

Yaay!!!
Got one of the last places be nice to meet up with some of you from on here and learn some new skills, I can't wait.
I had to miss the cornwall meet up as I had to take one of my boys to Bangor university's open day. Well worth it though as he has been offered a place to take a Phd in environmental science.

Thank you Ash for the heads up on what looks like a great day.:)

Well, there's been a Cancellation! Martin can't make it so there's one last place available, I've just posted it on our Frontpage, Twitter & on here so you'll have to be quick if you can make it this weekend in Devon! Only put your name down if your serious (don't deprive others the chance & not turn up) see: http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/events/trapping-game-prep-free-day-course.html

I didn't realise I was mean't to email them about this Ash :0/ Did you put our names down..?Doh! :( Oooh Jonny.. of course you need to book, not merely putting your name on here, you should have read the more info link, I did try to make it obvious. You even quoted Basha72 saying:

As you were first to respond I thought you'd read the link and put your names down. See first post (http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?4662-A-FREE-Trapping-Snares-amp-Game-Prep-Day-Course&p=62948&viewfull=1#post62948).

As I said I was just giving a heads'up you had to read the more info link.

I'm so sorry to hear you've not booked.

Gutted for you Jonny.

For those that are not sure where it is and using SatNav, the postcode for the car park is EX6 7XR.

Disclaimer - anyone getting lost through following my directions are foolish in more ways than one and deserve to be wherever they find themselves :p

Well I followed my own directions and didn't get lost :happy-clapping:

The weather didn't spoil the day although the rain conspired with the mud to try their best. Some new traps learnt and animals dissected, and one beast of a trap built and successfully trialed. Was an enjoyable day with more faces put to names.

Thanks to Jack for the day, and good luck for the future.

Thanks again to Jack Hendry @ www.seriousoutdoorskills.co.uk (http://www.seriousoutdoorskills.co.uk/) for putting on a splendid day-course for us.

There will be more photos, videos & probably a blog-article @ http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/blog soon.

Fantastic day thank you Jack! I thoroughly enjoyed myself as the token vegetarian-if I knew where all meat came from and didn't come in little plastic boxes in fancy refrigerators I wouldn't be a veggie, so it was great to learn about the real value of food :) Laura also enjoyed it a lot-next time I will listen to her when it comes to making traps!!!

Hopefully do it again soon!
