I got one of these drinking vessels from fish ages ago and wanted to make one myself, well I was round my mates the other week and rescued a nice bit of apple wood from his fire pile, here is the result I hope you like it.

Yes I made the spoon too, now all I have to do is get over the fields withe kelly kettle and get a brew on.

Thanks for the nice comments. I just realised I spelled kuksa wrong but it doesn't matter to me you all knew what I meant, now I just have to start a new one cos I got the bug, I have a good bit of Portuguese Laurel from a chap and I think that may look nice so I'll give it a go.

That's a real nice finish you put on it; plenty of sanding, then what...oil?

I'm not that familiar with kuksas, are they meant to be a bowl and cup all in one I guess?
