Hopefully it will head north and meet up with the solitary wild male Golden Eagle that lives in the Lakes, settle down and raise some Eaglets and re-populate the UK ... stunningly beautiful creatures !

Sadly I believe Eagles mate for life and the Lakeland bird is destined to live a solitary existence. If i remember rightly (and I may be wrong) his partner was poisoned/shot

I hope so too - it's a shame that they are rare these days.
Yes indeed - I've only seen them once in person, but they are quite majestic in flight. Makes me wish I had wings :D.
