Okay, lets imagine that the Honey stove and the honey stove Ti cost the same and you own neither.

Which one would you choose to buy and why?

(basically trying to find the advantages and downsides to both without the obvious cost)

Thanks :)

Weight mostly? I think titanium has a higher melting point as well!? Not That I've ever melted steel while cooking!

I agree entirely. The only difference really is the weight.

Its all gonna come down to weather you are prepared to put the huge price difference over the weight difference.

I bought a stainless steel folding spork for 2 instead of a Ti one for 16. The only difference being a net saving of 25 grammes if I had bought the Ti one. For me the cost difference is not worth it.

Thanks for the answers guys! :)

I didn't know if the steel version was more susceptible to rust?

Or the thinner titanium to warp?

I doubt the steel one would rust, as far as i know it's stainless.

These fancy flat pak stoves are Great if you can afford them, light weight, compact and long lasting, but empty food tins do a damn fine job and are very green in comparison, just a quick simple task
